Five playful and educational exhibition spaces follow one another to immerse the visitor from the Reunion coast to the open sea.

Preparing for the visit

A collaboration with the Rectorate of La Réunion allows the development of educational activities within the framework of the Primary and Secondary school programs.

Pre-visits

Free pre-visits take place on certain Wednesdays and Saturdays, ask for the dates. By reservation, only if you have validated your visit to the Aquarium with your class.

Schedule of school visits

The visit is made by reservation. The duration depends on the teacher's educational project (between 1 and 2 hours).

Free tour

The visit route invites you to dive into the heart of the Indian Ocean and as close as possible to our coasts.

You will be able to admire the richness of Reunion's marine fauna and flora, discover the complex mechanisms of corals, understand the biology of sharks, learn how your Aquarium works... Thanks to a wide range of films, animations, manipulations, information panels available to you.

We wanted all the topics covered to be accessible to all levels of age and knowledge.

Mini-conferences

A biologist presents a video projection on a theme on marine biodiversity

– coral biology
– life and customs of coral fish

Facial mask

A biological diver immersed in an aquarium communicates live with the public. This animation allows you to discover the richness of the coral reef whose diversity is one of the most important on the planet.

Touch basin

A biologist technician presents different marine organisms in the laboratory. The objective of this animation is to apprehend the diversity of reefs by observing and manipulating living organisms (algae, sponges, corals, crustaceans, sea urchins, etc.).
